Specialization
Anna Garkava specializes in pre-trial and litigation support for companies in the areas of tax, customs, commercial, and corporate law. Her practice includes corporate governance matters, organization and legal support of general meetings of shareholders, supervisory board and management board meetings, preparation of corporate documentation, and protection of the interests of investors and shareholders.
She provides comprehensive legal advice on tax matters, including representation during scheduled and unscheduled tax audits, development of legal strategies, and protection of taxpayers’ rights through both administrative and judicial appeals against decisions of tax and other regulatory authorities.
Anna also advises clients on corporate law issues, including the preparation and conduct of supervisory board, management board, and general shareholders’ meetings; interaction with shareholders, investors, and regulatory authorities; preparation and coordination of corporate governance reports, annual reports of securities issuers, and disclosure of material information in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
In the field of commercial law, she represents clients’ interests, drafts and reviews commercial agreements, prepares protocols of disagreements, claims, and court submissions, and provides legal support in dispute resolution.
In addition, Anna provides legal support to companies operating in Germany, including drafting legal documentation, assisting with registrations in commercial registers, and liaising with competent regulatory authorities.
